Mumbai: With the year coming to a close, it’s time to look at the reigning B-town celebrities of the year. And if Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber were among the Google`s most searched persons in the world in 2010, then in India it was Salman, Katrina and cricket that ruled the internet. Ex lovers Salman and Katrina have been named as the most downloaded Bollywood celebrities for the year 2010. As per a recent mobile survey, a list has been released that states the most downloaded celebrities, top Bollywood songs, most celebrated occasions and spot icons. Atul Bindal, president of the company that conducted the survey, told a news daily, "Today, people across India are increasingly relying on the mobile platform as a source of entertainment and information, including songs, videos, wallpapers and applications. The findings are a true manifestation of what appeals to the Indian masses." The survey has six categories, and showcases the most popular songs, wallpapers, photos and festivals in the year 2010. It reflects the country`s wild passion for cricket, music and Bollywood.
