Sanjay Dutt ousts Dharam Oberoi, makes Manyata CEO

Mumbai: It took a rather unpleasant nasty spat with director Ram Gopal Varma for Sanjay Dutt to realise that he was being misguided by his own manager Dharam Oberoi, consequently the actor ousted Oberoi from his production company. Bollywood sources confirmed that Dharam Oberoi has been shown the door as Sanjay Dutt was frequently facing hackles at the professional front thanks to his erstwhile manager. Only last week, post misgivings with RGV, Sanjay made his wife Maanayata the CEO of his production house, a post earlier occupied by Dharam. He, however, allowed Dharam to remain his manager and look after the business interests. But he soon realised that he was better off without him and wants to start on a fresh note. A source close to the actor said, “As it is Sanjay was being warned about the high-handedness of Dharam by those close to him. After Ramu lashed out at him and made several allegations against him, the message was clear to the star. Dharam’s removal was the only way for Sanjay to get out of the mess he found himself in.”
