Hollywood hunk Hugh Jackman is up for a Bollywood soiree. And joining him will be India’s most charismatic star Shah Rukh Khan. It was reported earlier that Hugh would be India bound to grace FICCI sponsored film and media conference soon. The latest is that SRK would be sharing the stage with the Hollywood superstar at the conference. Buzz has it that Karan Johar played an important role in making Jackman come to India.

The ‘X Men’ franchise star will reportedly fly to Mumbai on Thursday night and will be the star attraction on the closing day of the conference on Friday. Buzz has it that Karan Johar played an important role in making Jackman come to India. It was only after Karan insisted that Hugh decided to visit Mumbai. It’s being said that at the conference, Hugh Jackman and Shah Rukh will talk about cinema and the fast bridging gap between the two biggest film industries in the world, Bollywood and Hollywood. Jackman’s India visit has been planned and successfully executed by Fox Star India. Hugh Jackman is best known for his roles in the films of ‘X Men’ series, ‘Wolverine’ being the latest. He is also a singer and a dancer and has done a good number of stage musicals. Many might remember him as the entertaining host of the Oscar awards night in 2009 when ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ won multiple awards.
