Los Angeles: Amid speculation of an impending wedding, socialite Paris Hilton has ended her much publicised 14-month romance with `The Hills` star Doug Reinhardt. The 29-year-old reality TV star had announced her plans to marry Reinhardt earlier, but the relationship has ended in splitsville, reported E!Online.
"Obviously she broke up with him," said a source close to the blonde beauty but the reason for the split is not clear.
Hilton was seen partying in Las Vegas last weekend and Doug was reportedly planning to fly out to see her but instead he went to the ski-resort of Aspen.
"He was in Aspen with his dad this weekend and was considering stopping by Vegas on the drive back, but changed his mind. I`m pretty sure he went to Aspen to hide out and try to get over her," added the source.
Hilton chose to spend time with her parents, Kathy and Richard, at the weekend and even went clubbing in Vegas with them.
News of a split is sure to disappoint the families of Hilton and 24-year-old Reinhardt.
Earlier this year, the couple spent a week with his parents at a luxury villa on the Caribbean island of Anguilla, where they started calling Hilton "daughter-in-law".
After a night out in February with Reinhardt and her parents, Hilton tweeted about how pleased she was at how well they got on.
"What a fun night! My mom and Doug were so cute dancing together! I love how my parents love my love! We all had a blast! Great night," she had written.
