Sonam Kapoor DEFENDS Tanmay Bhat – Here's what she said

New Delhi: While most people in the country are busy criticizing Tanmay Bhat's controversial video, there is one Bollywood star who has finally stepped forward and spoken in support of the 28-year-old comedian. Here, we are talking about Sonam Kapoor.

The 'Neerja' actress feels that videos of the AIB youtuber are being misinterpreted and the whole issue is being blown out of the proportion.

“Dear @thetanmay ,being your friend I know what you say and do is never to offend, but to make people laugh,” she tweeted.

It all started when Tanmay mocked legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and musical legend Lata Mangeshkar on Snapchat. Now, a lot of political parties are demanding strict action against him for 'insulting' India's national icons.
