Swift to play Joni Mitchell?

Los Angeles: Singer Taylor Swift is in talks to portray iconic singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell in the big screen adaptation of Sheila Weller`s book ‘Girls Like Us’.

The story follows the careers of Mitchell and her peers Carly Simon and Carole King, reports a website. Actress Alison Pill has reportedly auditioned for the part of King. John Sayles is set to direct and production is expected to begin later this year. IANS
