Mumbai: As a college student, she had participated in a contest organised by Coca Cola which promised the winner a date with the then emerging superstar Hrithik Roshan during the release of his debut film ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ 15 years ago. Now, a 34-year-old, Shikha Monga is still waiting to go on a date with the actor.

A resident of Panchkula in Haryana, Shukha has moved court against the soft drink giant for denying her a date with Hrithik, as was promised during the promotional campaign, reports suggest.

Coca Cola offered her Rs 5 lakh instead but the girl refused to accept the offer and insisted on meeting the Bollywood star as per the promise made by the company.

But when the company failed to live up to its commitment, Shikha was left embarrassed as she had told people she had known about her “date” with Hrithik. She was soon tagged a liar and that eventually tarnished her reputation.

Shikha has slapped a compensation of Rs 2.5 crores for the damages done by the company, reports suggest.
