Jon Bon Jovi to release two scents with Avon

Avon has been recruited as the spokesmodel to front the brand`s upcoming campaigns for its new ‘Unplugged’ perfumes, reported Aceshowbiz.

Los Angeles: Rocker Jon Bon Jovi has teamed up with Avon to create a fragrance for men and women.

The 50-year-old vocalist has been recruited as the spokesmodel to front the brand`s upcoming campaigns for its new ‘Unplugged’ perfumes, reported Aceshowbiz. "Avon, and the Avon Foundation for Women, have given support and a voice to those in need for decades. Their philosophy of empowerment sends a strong message and I`m pleased to partner them," Jon said. The fragrances are inspired by "passion, soulfulness and intensity"; the men`s version will have a woody note while the women`s will be oriental. Lily DeStefano, Vice President of Avon North America Beauty said the Bon Jovi rocker was the perfect person to have on board. "Jon`s music and philanthropic work celebrate independence and optimism, two beautiful qualities that radiate from within. The Unplugged scents evoke an emotional connection - something Jon inspires in audiences around the world," he said. PTI
