Helena to play Blyton in TV drama

Helena Bonham Carter has landed Enid Blyton`s role in major TV drama.

London, March 07: Hollywood actress Helena Bonham Carter has landed the role of renowned children’s book author Enid Blyton in major TV drama.The BBC4 show will tell an interesting story of the author, who wrote acclaimed books like The Famous Five, The Secret Seven, Malory Towers and Noddy.

“It’s a long time since I have read such a well-written script with as complex and fascinating a character as Enid,” a website quoted Helena as saying.
