Kapil Sharma’s ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’: Here’s another reason why show was pulled off air

Getting Kapil to shoot for the show was becoming a tough task for the makers, latest report suggests.

Mumbai: The makers of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ and star comedian Kapil Sharma had their own reasons to give to explain the end of the super-hit show in January.

After alleging that Kapil demanded more money to host the show, the makers have now accused him of high-handedness.

According to a report published in DNA, getting Kapil to shoot for the show was becoming a tough task for the makers.

“Getting dates from him for the shoot was a problem and even when he did, he would report very late for the shoot, at times up to five hours,” DNA quoted a source as saying.

However, Kapil has been tight-lipped about the whole controversy ever since the show went off air.
