Mariah Carey quits `American Idol`

Washington: Mariah Carey has no plans to return to the reality singing show- ` American Idol`.

The publicity firm of the pop star, PMK BNC, tweeted that Carey is not returning to the show and is planning a world tour after the success of her new single, `Beautiful`, Fox News reported. Carey, who became a new judge on the show last year, bickered with her fellow judge, Nicki Minaj, creating a feud that was uncomfortable for both viewers and contestants. ANI
