Mel B may miss out on 'X Factor' final due to illness

London: Melanie Brown may have to miss out on the 'X Factor' show final due to her illness, it has been revealed.

A spokesman said that the 39-year-old judge, who still has one contestant Andrea Faustini in the show after Paul Akister was eliminated in the fifth week, is still unwell and they don't know if she will do the show, the BBC reported.

The former Spice Girl, who joined fellow judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini this series, didn't appear at an X Factor press conference on December 11.

Producers may have to find a replacement, but no alternative plans have been revealed yet.
