Miss India UK accused of `playing race card` in Big Brother

‘Big Brother’ has landed at the centre of a race hate and suicide storm after top Labour MP Keith Vaz demanded a probe into bullying in the house.

London: ‘Big Brother’ has landed at the centre of a race hate and suicide storm after top Labour MP Keith Vaz demanded a probe into bullying in the house.
Shievonne Robinson caused panic saying she was “depressed and on suicide watch”, the Daily Star reported. The ex-Playboy bunny girl has also accused Miss India UK champ Deana Uppal of “playing the race card” to get sympathy. The 23-year-old has often been seen in tears after rows with housemates who openly plotted to nominate her for eviction. Vaz, chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee, called for MPs to debate the allegations. He also urged TV watchdog Ofcom to swiftly investigate whether Channel 5 broke broadcasting rules by screening heated exchanges between housemates. It is already probing three incidents and may now look at another four. To date, 1,116 viewers have complained about Irish hot-head Conor McIntyre, 24, making violent and abusive threats to Deana. Show bosses have warned him about aggressive behaviour and language. A further 121 fans have taken issue with posh Caroline Warrham, 20, for branding black American housemate Adam Kelly, 27, “a ridiculous gorilla’’. Three viewers have also complained about former BB5 housemate Victor Ebuwa, 31, calling the gang “retards’’ on spin-off show Bit On The Side. ANI
