Mumbai: There have been talks for quite some time that Akshay Kumar would not be hosting the fifth season of popular reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi`. And now, the makers of the show have confirmed that ‘Singham’ star Ajay Devgn would be hosting the new season of the Indian version of Fear Factor.
Akshay, who has hosted three seasons of the adventure based reality show, would not be able to be part of the new season as he wants to spend time with his family. Akshay’s wife, actress Twinkle Khanna is expecting the couple’s second child. The baby is due around the same time when the shoot of the show is scheduled to start. The makers had been contemplating on approaching John Abraham or Ajay Devgn for some time now. John, who busy shooting back to back for four films, could not adjust his date diary to be a part of the show. The makers went right ahead and signed Ajay who has reinvented his action image ever since he played a cop in ‘Singham’. A daily confirmed that actor has been signed on for the show, and will soon start shooting for it.
