Deepika Padukone to emerge as highest paid Bollywood actress with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati'?

New Delhi: Be it Bollywood hits or Hollywood stint, actress Deepika Padukone is having the time of her life these days. Now, latest reports have claimed that the 30-year-old star is all set to become the highest paid actress in Bollywood with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film 'Padmavati'.

If the B-Town buzz is to be believed, Deepika will be taking home Rs 12.65 crore for the movie. Damn, that is huge!

"For Ram-Leela she got Rs 1 crore, for Bajirao-Mastani which came two years later, it was Rs 7 crore, this time it is Rs 12.65 crore, making her the first Bollywood actress to break the Rs 10 crore barrier," a source told Mumbai Mirror.

However, there is no official confirmation in terms of the casting of 'Padmavati'. It is being speculated that Ranveer Singh will  be seen playing the antagonist in the film.
