Fawad Khan not the new Bollywood Lakhan?

Mumbai: Pakistani heartthrob – Fawad Khan impressed women across all age groups as Zaroon in Zindagi’s ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’, and went on to sizzle on the silverscreen too as Prince Vikram opposite Sonam Kapoor in ‘Khoobsurat’.

Speculations were rife that  the dashing actor will be reprising the character originally played by Anil Kapoor, in ‘Ram Lakhan’ remake.

However, producer Karan Johar through a tweet Wednesday morning has clarified that the casting for the film is yet to be done.

While Rohit and I are extremely excited with the excitement RAM LAKHAN has generated....we would like to say...IT HAS NOT BEEN CAST!!!

Initial reports suggested that Karan Johar had roped in Fawad to play Lakhan, Sidharth for Ram's character and Alia for Madhuri Dixit's character in the remake of the 1989’s blockbuster ‘Ram Lakhan’ directed by Subhash Ghai.
