'Imitation Game' quick review

The historical thriller movie starring Benedict Cumberbatch released in India and it is creating quite a buzz for the Hollywood buffs in the country.

The film which is  loosely based on the biography Alan Turing: The Enigma byAndrew Hodges. opened mostly to positive reviews from critics. Cumberbatch's performance has been appreciated from all quarters and was even featured in the top 10 performances of the year 2014. It earned an astounding nine British Academy of Film and Television Arts nominations including Best Film and Outstanding British Film as well as Five Golden Globe Nominations.

Cumberbatch plays Alan Turing, who helped to decode the Nazi Code called 'Enigma' during the second World War and his decline post the war as he accepted his homosexuality.

'The Imitation Game' managed to gross USD 81.9 million and has been declared a hit.

With a cast that boasts of Cumberbatch along with Keira Knightly and Mathew good, the film is surely going to get a good response from the Indian subcontinent as well.
