Lover boy Sidharth Malhotra to travel time in his next?

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra, who made his debut with Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year' is fast climbing the ladder of success.

If reports are to be believed, the actor will very soon be seen playing a time traveler in an upcoming love story. The untitled film will reportedly be helmed by debutante Nitya Mehra and co-produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Karan Johar.

Earlier, there were speculations about Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone being roped in for the project, but producer Ritesh Sidhwani has reportedly confirmed the news about casting Sidharth for the role. If grapevine is to believed, then the role was also offered to Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan but things did not work out.

Sidharth Malhotra has several other projects in his kitty which include 'Brothers'- the official remake of Hollywood film 'Warriors' and Vikramaditya Motwane 'Bhavesh Joshi'.
