Washington D.C.: 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' director J.J. Abrams has confirmed that the absence of Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill, from the trailer is no accident.

In an interview, director J.J. Abrams said that it was no accident that Luke Skywalker had minimum screen time in the trailer. Abrams said "these are good questions to be asking. I can't wait for you to find out the answers," The Independent reports.

' Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is all set to open in theaters on December 17 and is possibly the most highly-anticipated movie ever.
