Mumbai: Filmmaker Hansal Mehta's reality drama “Aligarh”, which is based on the real life incident of doctor Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was suspended from his job as a professor because of his sexual orientation, and stars Manoj Bajpayee and Rajkumar Rao in lead roles, will release in February next year.
A fan asked the “Gangs of Wasseypur” actor why there was no news about the Indian release of “Aligarh”.
To that, Manoj replied: “It's not released. In February.”
"Aligarh" was also screened at the 17th Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival in Mumbai last month.
