Mumbai: After impressing audiences and critics alike with his intense performance in Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Haider’, Shahid Kapoor will be back as a lover boy in ‘Shaandaar’ opposite Alia Bhatt.

The film directed by Vikas Bahl and jointly produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Phantom Films, is slated to release on October 22. It is certainly one of the most awaited movies of 2015’s last quarter.

Shahid Kapoor & Alia Bhatt 

Shahid returns to the silverscreen as a lover boy after the portrayal of ‘Haider’. The hunk of an actor, who has an ocean of fan following will be seen essaying a happy-go-lucky character in the film. This young girl had had a great journey so far, as an actress. Each of her films has done well at the Box Office. And ‘Shaandaar’ promises to be another hit-film.

Shahid-Alia chemistry

Alia had confessed that Shahid was her childhood crush. And Shaandaar brings together in icon and his admirer together! The two look incredibly cute together.

Cast

The film also stars Pankaj Kapoor, Shahid’s real life father. ‘Shaandaar’ also marks the launch of Sanah Kapoor, Shahid’s real life half-sister.

The songs of the film are already a huge hit.
