Trailer out: Sushant Singh Rajput as ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’

Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput is the face of one of the most anticipated films of 2015 – Detective Byomkesh Bakshy . And the trailer of the film is out! Directed by Dibakar Banerjee and produced by Yash Raj Films, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is based on the detective’s “first chase”. Set in the backdrop of Calcutta in 1943, DBB also stars Bengali actress Tannishtha Chatterjee.

The film is slated to release on April 3. Sushant has emerged as one of the most sought after actors in the Tinsel Town. He began his Bollywood career with Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kai Po Che!’, an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s ‘The 3 Mistakes of my life’ and then went on to become a part of films – ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ and ‘PK’. The actor has Oscar Award winning filmmaker Shekhar Kapur’s ‘Paani’ in his kitty and is also believed to have been taken on board by Homi Adajania for a film.
