Vidya Balan bags another biopic?

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is a brand name in herself. The lady, who has given the Khan trinity a tough competition, by shouldering the fate of her films entirely on her own, will now be seen playing Suchitra Sen in a biopic, reports suggest.

According to the latest buzz, Vidya has been roped in to play the gorgeous legendary Bengali actress on screen. This will be Vidya’s second biopic after ‘The Dirty Picture’, which saw her portray southern sex siren Silk Smitha.

Vidya, who began her Bollywood film career with ‘Parineeta’, went on to give hits like ‘Kahaani’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Paa’, ‘Ishqiya’.

However, the lady, failed to do well at the Box Office in the recent times and delivered a string of unimpressive films - ‘Ghanchakkar’, ‘Bobby Jasoos’ and ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’.

But a powerhouse of talent that she is, Vidya has the potential to bounce back stronger and prove that a few flops cannot dampen her spirit.

Here’s looking forward to seeing Vidya as Mahanayika Suchitra Sen on the silverscreen.
