Mumbai: Bollywood singers including Sukhwinder Singh, Shaan, Kunal Ganjawala and others have come together to sing a 'unity' track called "Deewaren".

The music video is inspired by the spirit of Holi and stresses on the need of bringing down the imaginary walls that divide people.

Other singers who have lent their voice to the song include Javed Ali, Suraj Jagan, Ash King and Jonita Gandhi.

Directed by Saurabh Vishwakarma, the song has been written and composed by Vinay Jaiswal.

The music video features several children as different colours, trapped in some adversities, with the singers making an appeal to free them so as to rise above caste and creed.

"The power of music is ubiquitous. There is something about music that can heal you, shape you, and change the way you are feeling. We fused music and a strong story to drive home the message that we need to stand together and unite in the face of adversity," Jaiswal said in a statement.

The song is a collaboration between Paytm and The Moody Nation.
