India has a very distinctive culture, says DJ Tiesto

New Delhi: DJ Tiesto, who is on his second visit to the country, says he likes performing in India and would like to explore its diverse culture.

The Dutch musician will be touring three cities - Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi - on his visit. He last came to the country in 2008 and says he is excited to be back again.

"I really like India, it has a very distinctive culture and I am really looking forward to be here. I am very proud to be associated with Sunburn Arena for this tour," Tiesto said.

Besides performing, Tiesto wants to explore the country but knows it might not be possible because of his busy schedule.

"I have always known that India is the country with the most diversified cultures. I would like to explore the country to the maximum extent."

India has seen a lot of EDM (electronic dance music) artists like David Guetta, Edward Maya and Swedish House Mafia perform in the past few years.

But Tiesto says his music will be different and audiences will be in for a surprise.

"I always am looking ahead to evolve as an artist, with my music and with my other DJ friends. I work very hard on my music, my podcast and my live shows."
The musician also talked about listening to a lot of Bollywood artists and hopes to collaborate with them in the future.

"I have heard of a lot of artists. You never know if something works out during this tour."

Sunburn Arena is getting the artist here and he will be performing in Mumbai today, in Bangalore on March 30 and in Delhi on 31 March.
