Chris Noth wants ‘porn scene’ with Sarah Jessica Parker

Chris Noth is hoping that he may get an onscreen moment with Sarah Jessica Parker in the movie ‘Lovelace’.

New York: Chris Noth is hoping that he may get an onscreen moment with Sarah Jessica Parker, after the ‘Sex and the City’ star replaced Demi Moore in the movie ‘Lovelace’.

Parker is a new addition to the cast of the Linda Lovelace biopic, stepping in to replace Moore after she was hospitalised last week for “substance abuse” issues. “They should write us a scene,” the New York Post quoted Noth as telling E! News. In the based-on-a-true-story film, Amanda Seyfried plays Lovelace, the ‘Deep Throat’ star who later denounced her participation in the porno classic claiming that then-husband Chuck Traynor, played by Peter Sarsgaard, forced her to do it at gunpoint. Parker will play feminist icon Gloria Steinem, who was a major critic of the porn industry in 1972, when ‘Deep Throat’ was released. In 1980, Steinem’s Ms. magazine ran a story called ‘Linda Lovelace’s Ordeal’ about the abuse Lovelace claimed to have received at the hands of Traynor. Noth has long been cast in the movie and has already finished filming several scenes. The ‘Law & Order’ star plays Anthony Romano, the financier who put up the cash for ‘Deep Throat,’ widely regarded as the first pornographic film with a plot. Following Parker’s casting, Noth said that he is disappointed not to share the screen with her, as the two played iconic couple Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big in ‘Sex and the City.’ But he has an idea on how to remedy the situation. “My character funds [the movie ‘Deep Throat’]. “So I should try to talk Gloria into a porn scene,” he said. While it’s unlikely that the movie’s scribes will take his plot suggestion, Noth is still excited for ‘Lovelace’ to land in theatres. ANI
