The story revolves around four friends who run away from their homes. Striving for better life and jobs--kicking off their real struggle in life. Beginning with menial jobs and toiling hard, they form a routine until they witness a life changing day of being taken by the police.

Taking the torture, the boys get accused and beaten up in return. Kudos to the National Award-winning director Vetrimaaran for portraying the movie well. Concentrating on the harsh realities of life, the movie won the hearts of all and sundry. The vicious web of the basic system that engulfs you and the helplessness makes the movie look more real. A gripping film that is backed well by the music leaves a never ending impression with its intensity.

It is adapted from a novel named 'Lock up', which has been written by M. Chandrakumar, an auto rickshaw driver in Coimbatore. The Tamil thriller released on February 5, 2016.
