Seven out of ten Brit couples too tired to have sex

Feeling too tired to enjoy those intimate moments with your better half? Well, if you’re living in Britain you are not alone.

London: Feeling too tired to enjoy those intimate moments with your better half? Well, if you’re living in Britain you are not alone.
A recent study has revealed that seven out of 10 couples are simply too exhausted for sex, reports a daily. The results, which come from a poll conducted of more than 3000 people throughout Britain, showed that hectic social lives, busy work schedules and time spent running around after the children are making Brits give sex a miss. More than one in two people have turned down their partner’s advances last month because they were worn out and one in five has said ‘no’ this week. Two third people admitted they only have time and energy to make love at the weekend when they don’t have to get up the following morning. “After a long day at work or looking after the family, it seems many people are tired of feeling tired and unable to do anything else but sleep once they crawl into bed,” said Louise White, of Pharmaton Vitality Capsules. “Instead of having some quality time with their other half beneath the sheets, it seems many would rather just catch up on their rest,” he added. The study also revealed that not sleeping well was the most common reason, while long working hours was second. Going to bed too late, children keeping them up and hectic social lives were other common factors in their low energy levels. Researchers also found more than half of Brits will refuse to have sex if it is past a certain time at night, with just after 10 p.m. the average cut off time for jumping into bed with their loved one. A quarter will even refuse as early as 9 p.m. It also emerged one in two couples have ended up arguing about the lack of sex in their relationship, with 17 percent even splitting up over it. Six out of 10 admitted they should ‘make more of an effort’ to find time to make love. ANI
