Adele ‘doing well’ after throat surgery

London: Adele was spotted shopping just months after undergoing throat surgery that forced her to call off tour dates around the world.

The British star looked well on the road to recovery as she smiled and chatted happily to fans, the Daily Express reported. The ‘Someone Like You’ singer, who is expected to make her live UK comeback at next month’s Brit Awards, wrapped up warm in an over-sized fur hat and long-black coat for the shopping trip in London. And the Grammy winner, free of make-up, completed the casual look with dark tights, black boots and a pair of gold-hooped earrings tucked behind her newly bleached hairdo. The singer, who seems to have slimmed down following the operation on her vocal cords in November, set the record straight yesterday following claims that her boyfriend Simon Konecki was still married. Reports suggested Konecki, known as Swampy, was still in the process of divorcing his ex. “Contrary to reports and headlines in the Press, Simon is divorced and has been for four years,” Adele wrote on her official website.
