Rooney and Elton John bond over hair transplants

London: Wayne Rooney and Elton John have reportedly become good friends after bonding over their love of hair transplants.

The Man United ace and the ‘Rocket Man’ hitmaker also discussed music and John’s belief that his tot Zachary is a budding soccer star when they met, backstage at the singer’s Million Dollar Piano show in Las Vegas. “They’ve got football and singing in common because Wayne loves karaoke. And jokes about Wayne’s hair transplant were flying, as Elton’s transplant is one of the most famous,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. Their chat at the Caesars Palace gig came before a chest infection forced John to axe the last four shows of his run there. He bounced back to play the jubilee concert. Rooney and John first became mates in 2003, after the footie star saw him play Manchester’s MEN arena. Rooney’s wife Coleen was also at the Vegas gig. ANI
