Rishikesh, Uttarakhand
Since most of the people come for detoxification here, non-veg food is prohibited in the city. It is the city of temples, emerald green hills with lots of thorny trees.

The city lies in the Mathura district and has religious importance because according to Hindu scriptures, Lord Krishna spent most of the childhood in this city. One cannot find any non-vegetarian food in the city as it is banned.
