Meizu's upcoming smartphone can control Alibaba's internet car
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu`s upcoming `E` line of smartphones will be powered by Alibaba`s YunOS and will be able to control the Roewe RX5 smart car jointly announced by Alibaba with SAIC Motor Corp.

Beijing: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu`s upcoming `E` line of smartphones will be powered by Alibaba`s YunOS and will be able to control the Roewe RX5 smart car jointly announced by Alibaba with SAIC Motor Corp.
Meizu had scheduled a press event for August 10 and going by the company`s teasers, they will announce the `E` line of smartphones during the show, Chinese social network Weibo reported on Tuesday.
Alibaba`s YunOS is a forked version of Android which means regular Android equipped with Meizu`s Flyme OS UI will not be installed on these smartphone and rather equipped with car control features.
Meizu "M1E" smartphone will be all-metal body featuring 5.5-inch full-HD display, 13MP camera and 3,100 mAh battery.
The phone will be equipped with 32GB of internal storage and will be powered by the Helio P10 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 1.8GHz paired up with 3GB of RAM.
