Gurugram: Some youngsters were on December 31 thrashed outside the Sahara Mall on Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road by the Haryana Police for hooliganism. The police had to baton-charged the youth to maintain law and order.
The police had to exercise force after the men wanted to enter the mall to celebrate New Year in a pub at the mall.
Since the mall was overcrowded, they were not allowed inside which led to the entire fiasco.
Meanwhile, police have denied reports of drunken men having misbehaved with girls on New Year's eve in Gurugram.
In order to ensure safety and security in Gurugram, at least 250 cops were deployed at the Cyber City. Furthermore, MG Road was made a no-entry zone for cars.
