CONFIRMED: Sonakshi is underworld don’s girl

Sonakshi is all set to essay the role of a gangster`s moll in OUATIM 2.

Mumbai: Actress Sonakshi Sinha is all set to essay the role of a gangster`s moll in the sequel to `Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai`, opposite Akshay Kumar.

"Its official! @sonakshisinha is part of one of the films I`m looking forward to watching the most. ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI..AGAIN," said Sonakshi Sinha`s brother, Luv on Twitter. Reportedly, earlier Kareena Kapoor and Kangana Ranuat were approached for this role. This is Sonakshi`s third outing with Akshay. She has teamed up with the `Khiladi` in Shirish Kunder`s `Joker` and Prabhu Deva`s `Rowdy Rathore`. Both the films are slated to release this year. The sequel to `Once Upon a Time in Mumbai` stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi and Imran Khan in lead roles and will be directed by Milan Luthria. Akshay will be playing Shoaib, a character modelled on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in the movie. PTI
