BKU threatens to cut water supply to Delhi

Jind, June 09: Toughening its stand, the Bhartiya Kisan Union today served a 48-hour ultimatum to Haryana government to fulfil its demands, including withdrawal of cases against arrested leaders and waiver of power bills, failing which the farmers would stop water flow to Delhi.

Jind, June 09: Toughening its stand, the Bhartiya Kisan Union today served a 48-hour ultimatum to Haryana government to fulfil its demands, including withdrawal of cases against arrested leaders and waiver of power bills, failing which the farmers would stop water flow to Delhi.
If government does not accept our demands within 48 hours, then the water flowing from Haryana to Delhi will be stopped as part of our next phase of agitational programme, Haryana BKU chief Ghasi Ram Nain told a news agency.
