Katie Holmes cancels first red carpet appearance post Cruise split

London: Katie Holmes has cancelled what would have been her first official public appearance since filing for divorce from Tom Cruise.

The actress was due to walk the red carpet at an event for her Dizzy Feet Foundation in Los Angeles, but her representative has now confirmed that the star has pulled out, the Sun reported. Katie set up the organisation in 2009 with choreographer Carrie Ann Inaba and So You Think You Can Dance judges Nigel Lythgoe and Adam Shankman, following her appearance on the show in 2009.
