S.S. Thaman records qawwali for Nandini Reddy`s film

Chennai: Qawwali songs are not common in Telugu films. However, composer S.S. Thaman is excited about the qawwali number he has completed for Nandini Reddy`s upcoming Telugu film.

"Completed a qawwali song for Nandini`s film. Super excited about the song. Had super fun recording," S.S. Thaman tweeted. Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry has penned the lyrics for the song. The yet untitled film, by Reddy of `Ala Modalaindi` fame, features Siddharth and Samantha in lead roles. Nithya Menen has been roped in to play a cameo, while comedian Sunil will provide some laughter moments. IANS
