Mumbai: We reported how Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s respective camps seem to be bonding these days. While Katrina Kaif allegedly dumped a Rs 1 crore offer to work with SRK in Yash Chopra’s next in London, SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan was seen bonding with Salman and his family recently. Gauri was spotted at Sohail Khan’s wife Seema’s birthday party. Now, Seema and Gauri are buddies is a well known fact but what surprised everyone was Gauri’s bonding with Salman who was also present at his sister-in-law’s birthday bash. Speaking to DNA, a source said, “Seema shares a great rapport with Gauri, therefore her coming to the party wasn’t surprising. Also Malaika and others are very friendly with her. Though there has been tension between both Salman and Shah Rukh Khan for last couple of years that has never affected the relationship shared by the other members of both families.” “In fact, before the big spat that happened years ago at Katrina’s birthday bash, Gauri has always been friendly with Salman. Hence at Seema’s birthday when the two met they shared a warm bond and were seen chatting up and enjoying the party,” the source added. Not only Gauri, but SRK and her other close friends were also seen at the party having a gala time like actor Arjun Rampal who came in with wife Mehr Jessia. “Ever since SRK-Salman’s fight, their common friends find it difficult to enjoy a party when the two warring Khans are at the same party. Though SRK’s still seen around at various dos, Salman prefers to attend family parties. This time, Seema’s bash just helped clear the air and let all old friends enjoy each other’s company without any discomfort,” added another source. Now, with friends and family members bonding with each other, it is just a matter of time before the two warring Khans also kiss and make up. Or will they?
