Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who is busy shooting for his new film ‘Peekay’ in Rajasthan, stumbled upon a hotel named Mandawa Haveli and was so fascinated by its architecture that he decided to stay there.
Jaipur: Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who is busy shooting for his new film ‘Peekay’ in Rajasthan, stumbled upon a hotel named Mandawa Haveli and was so fascinated by its architecture that he decided to stay there.
Mandawa is approximately 190 km away from Jaipur. The filmmaker came across the 300-year-old haveli, which is now converted into a three-star hotel called Mandawa Haveli.
Smitten by the age-old architecture and structure, Hirani asked his production team to work on the logistics so that he could stay there.
‘Peekay’ features Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead.
