Christian Bale reveals Batman costume woes

Washington: Christian Bale has revealed that he almost fainted while filming ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ because of his restrictive Batman costume.

The Welsh actor, who wrapped up the last flick in the Batman trilogy, has revealed that he won`t miss his superhero costume because it was so difficult to breathe in it. "When it gets cold the cowl is extremely tight, and it gets better the warmer I get it; it becomes more flexible. But, after a couple of takes, I was trying to breathe properly in my nose. I was starting to see stars and I said, ``I have to take this off’,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Empire magazine. “And thank God, on this one (film) I can - on (first movie) Batman Begins I couldn`t - so I had to get inside because I couldn`t let anybody see me without the cowl,” he added.
