Amidst fanfare, Riteish-Genelia have a private church wedding

Mumbai: After a lavish Marathi wedding on Friday, newlyweds Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza got married the second time round on Saturday afternoon. This time, the wedding took place in a church in Bandra in Mumbai. The bride is known to be a religious person and has been raised in a Mangalorean Catholic family. In fact before their wedding, some Christian ceremonies were performed at Genelia’s residence Unlike the star studded, highly publicized Hindu wedding, the Church wedding was a private affair strictly for close family and friends. The couple will be hosting a reception later in the evening at The Grand Hyatt where the big wigs of Bollywood, important politicians and other eminent celebrities are likely to attend.
