‘Lambassador’ Sam Kekovich slams MJ, Kim Kardashian and Gaga

Kekovich took aim at Michael Jackson, Kim Kardashian and the young for being obsessed with technology.

Melbourne: Footy legend Sam Kekovich took aim at the King of Pop Michael Jackson, reality TV star Kim Kardashian and the young for being obsessed with technology in his eighth address to the nation.

The 61-year-old sports commentator plans to become a “chop star”, releasing a music video to the ‘90s bubblegum pop track ‘Barbie Girl’. Slammin’ Sam told the Herald Sun that unAustralianism had gone viral, spreading quicker than Pippa Middleton’s behind on Facebook. “Pop culture has hit rock bottom,” a website quoted Kekovich as saying. “We go Gaga over a woman (Lady Gaga) wearing a dress from lamb rather than eating it and we overdosed on the nuptials of Kim Kardashian. I think we are sick and tired of the bells and whistles, attitudes, slogans and deception,” he added. Kekovich has previously used his so-called national address to rant about diplomacy, the world economy being “rooted” because of “bottom-feeding, billionaire bankers, stuffing their wallets”, and taking on global warming. The lamb spruiker said that he hoped this year’s address would tap into the younger generation and change their “altitudes”. He also went about ranting about Charlie Sheen and the late pop legend’s life. “And is it any wonder Charlie Sheen’s lost his sparkle, when he’s always off his chops? We salivate over the TV trial of Michael Jackson’s doctor. If only Jacko had popped chops instead of pills, he might still be with us and a lot less pale and anaemic,” he said. Kekovich said that he enjoyed making the film clip, but insisted he would not be hitting a major arena any time soon and would limit his vocals to karaoke bars. ANI
