New York: Dating a celebrity can mean big bucks for your bank account if you know how to cash in on it.

Stacy Keibler is the latest A-list arm candy to capitalize on her “better” half’s fame. Although she has been going out with George Clooney for just six months, the model and former World Wrestling Entertainment personality has reportedly doubled her asking price to attend events. She used to demand a mere 10,000 dollars earlier for personal appearances but her current going rate is said to be 25,000, the New York Daily reported. The number of her paid appearances has shot up too, as clients hope her Golden Globe-nominated beau may drop by to visit his gal pal. Similarly, in 2008 Samantha Ronson had increased her deejaying fees nearly twenty times when she was reportedly dating troubled star Lindsay Lohan. Even though the couple split in 2009, Ronson still remains a popular deejay. The men aren’t far behind in this act either, Nick Cannon saw a big boost in requests to deejay or appear at clubs after marrying Mariah Carey in 2008. He was even made the host for ‘America’s Got Talent’ in 2009. Scott Disick too has made a name for himself on ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ as Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend. The two were once reportedly paid 7,500 dollars just to let paparazzi take pictures of them laying by a pool in Cancun. They collectively make six digits every time they sell a life memory to a tabloid, such as Kardashian’s baby shower that went for 300,000 dollars, or the birth of their son Mason, who turned two last week.
