On his popular show Daily News and Analysis (DNA), Zee News Editor-in-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary revealed the result of a new global survey, which found out that chemical contaminants in plastic toys could damage the nervous system and reduce intellectual capacity.
The survey of products from 26 countries, including India, found that 90 percent of the samples contained toxic chemicals, OctaBDE, DecaBDE, and HBCD. These chemicals are known to harm the reproductive system and disrupt hormone systems, adversely impacting intelligence, learning and memory.
