New Delhi: India's popular Live TV App JioTV on Wednesday announced that it will host the live broadcast of the month-long FIFA World Cup 2018 football matches between June 14 and July 15 as well as the India-Afghanistan test match, scheduled for June 14- June 18.

The content will be available to all Jio users absolutely free. With over 100 million JioTV users, in the coming few days, JioTV will announce more such surprises that benefit the Jio users and always deliver disproportionate value to them, Jio said.

Jio has recently launched the Double Dhamaka plan under which users will get high-speed data for as low as Rs 1.5 per GB along with free voice, SMS and Jio Apps.

“This will empower all Jio users to watch their favourite sports and other content on the go with JioTV and other leading Jio apps,” the company added.

JioTV app in February won the "Best Mobile Video Content" award at the Global Mobile (GLOMO) Awards 2018 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC).
