Balurghat Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 42 parliamentary constituencies of the state of West Bengal.

Arpita Ghosh of All India Trinamool Congress, Abdus Sadek Sarkar of Indian National Congress, Nalin Chandra Murmu of Bahujan Samaj Party, Sukanta Majumdar of Bharatiya Janata Party, Manas Chakraborty of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Red Star and Ranjit Kumar Mohanta of Shivsena are few prominent candidates contesting for general elections 2019 from Balurghat Lok Sabha Constituency of West Bengal. 

It was formed before the 1962 elections and has a total number of 1,010,000 voters.
