Motorola Moto Z smartphones coming to India on October 4

New Delhi: Lenovo will finally launch the Motorola Moto Z modular smartphones in India on October 4, four months after it was launched at the Lenovo Tech World 2016 on June 10.

Motorola India's official twitter confirmed the news of the October 4 launch.

On June 10, Lenovo had launched the Motorola Moto Z and Moto Z Force smartphones along with the Moto Mods – a Power Pack, a JBL SoundBoost Mod and Moto Insta-Share projector.

Then, Lenovo informed that these products would be available international from September, however, without any specific information on regions.

"It will come to India in September or October time frame and this is a product for which we think there is scope in the Indian market", Aymar de Lencquesaing, Senior Vice President, Lenovo Group had said earlier.

However, the company has now comfirmed that the Moto Z series smartphones will be launched on October 4.

The company has also confirmed that the Moto Mods will also be launched along with the smartphones.

But again, it is not confirmed whether all the three models would be launched or just one. For that, one will have to wait for October 4.
