Vivo V5s launched in India at Rs 18,990; comes with 20MP selfie camera

New Delhi: Vivo launched the successor to V5 – V5s smartphone in India on Thursday.

The V5s smartphone has been priced at Rs 18,990. The phone comes with a two months free subscription of Saavn Pro and will be available from May 6 both online and offline.

As has been teased by the company for the Selfie capabilities, the V5s with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera having Sony IMX376 sensor. While it has 13-megapixel rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus.

Vivo V5s sports a fingerprint scanner on the rear that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds.

The phone runs Android Marshmallow-based FuntouchOS which is Vivo's custom user interface.

Other features of the phone include a 5.5-inch 720p display, 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, dual-SIM.
