New Delhi: Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan in a biopic based on the tough life of Mahavir Singh Phogat is ready for release on December 23, 2016. The film will narrate the journey of a father who trained his daughters—Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, who went on to win laurels for the country in wrestling.
We have already seen two songs from 'Dangal' and now the third one titled 'Gilehriyaan' is out. The song beautifully shows how a 'Haanikaarak Bapu' Aamir trains her daughters hard and when one of them gets enrolled in a proper training centre in a city, what all changes she experiences in life.
From fighting hard in the wrestling arena to trying out all girly-stuff, everything has been captured in the song. It has been sung by Jonita Gandhi and the lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The music is composed by Pritam.
The film is helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. Geeta is India's first female wrestler to win gold at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in 55 kgs while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver in 51 kgs.
