Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA Raj Ballabh Yadav, accused of raping a minor, has been on the run for over a month now.
The victim, on the other hand, is preparing for another battle.
She will be sitting for her Class 10 exams beginning Thursday, as per reports.
The 15-year-old from Nalanda was allegedly raped by the RJD MLA on February 6.
In a bid to put the past behind her and start life afresh, the victim has decided to appear for the exams.
Following apprehensions expressed by the victim's father over the distance between her home and the examination centre, the authorities have allotted her a nearby centre.
The location of the centre has been kept secret.
The girl's family has been living in fear as the police have not managed to arrest Yadav as yet whose bail petition will come up for hearing at the Patna High Court soon.
